The Pencil Drawings and Graphite Sketches Art Gallery is composed of a variety of figure drawings, life drawings, still lifes, and a various other subjects. The styles used range from crisp energetic strokes to soft shading, and a combination of loose underdrawings with detailed finishing touches. Many of the drawings were created to better understand proportion, bone structure, and form in the human body and other objects.
