There are two 9″x12″ paintings / drawings of dogs with sombreros. The artworks are also accompanied by time lapse videos of their creation. The first dog is a papillion poodle mix, drawn and painted on paper with pens, markers, colored pencils, silver paint pen, and watercolors. The second dog is a jack russell terrier, also drawn and painted on paper with pens, markers, colored pencils, silver paint pen, and watercolors. Portions of the time lapse videos are missing due to technical difficulties. I don’t think dogs are comfortable wearing sombreros, hence the disconcerted look on their faces.

Thank you umesh!

It’s true, animals are so expressive! I believe they are very aware of us, and aware of what is invisible in this world to most people. Pets have intelligence and intuition that amazes me. I hear German Shepherds are especially are smart!

The videos are so much funm Michael. I’m really enjoying the pooches theme. (I did an animal theme for my blog this week also)
I agree that animals are intuitive and know what we don’t. They’re far more intelligent than most people give them credit and a very precious commodity in our lives.

Thanks Vikki! Yea, the benefits of owning a pet became very clear to me once I started caring for a dog. “Intelligent” in so many ways, and aware of the world in ways I can not fully comprehend. Like their incredible sense of smell. I imagine their brains are wired to interpret smells in very different way than people do. Amazing world!
