It's a pretty fun process to play around with... familiar landscapes in particular have an interesting depth to them, which gets accentuated even further when paint gets thicker or more layers of cut paper are added. Subtle shadows emerge, and viewers tend to take a second look to figure out what's going on. Thanks Lou!

I really like this. I thought of an aquarium when first I saw it. I was waiting for a fish to swim by. I got a deal on a used laminator, (didn't really think it through, because I've found the laminate is expensive), but it's creating some really neat effects with all the layered faces I've been drawing. Other ideas have been growing exponentially from there... I'll share more in future posts, once I find a limit to the number of layers of laminate that can be applied to one drawing! ;) Thanks Vikki!
