His personality and approach to oil painting made it easier for me to understand and paint something that actually made me feel proud of myself. While many have criticized his technique and his company’s current business practices, I can’t deny that he was my first inspiration for being an artist, and I’m thankful. His paintings and personality on TV will live on, hopefully inspiring more creative minds throughout the world.
