Hi. I'm submitting a critical essay on a Puerto Rican play titled (in Spanish) "Un niño azul para esa sombra"... loosely translated, "A Blue Boy for that Shadow", to the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture Journal. You're artwork is perfect as a companion piece for the essay. Let me know if there are royalties or any kind of copyright details concerning your work.

Thanks,

Michael,

I'm an oil painter. I like Blue Boy; it has power, & feeling & expression. Only thing is, I would like to see the eyes line up better. I know you call it abstract, but I don't think you meant it to be Picasso-like, otherwise, you probably would have exaggerated the fact more. If you cover up his right eye, then in fact, you do see a wide-eyed boy, perhaps a little scared. But as soon as you uncover the eye, it loses this dynamic impact that it could have, because, in my humble opinion, then the left eye looks disenchanted from the face.

I won't say any more. Any sense at all?
